Nahla is a compassionate and skilled mental health therapist dedicated to supporting diverse and multicultural communities. Proudly identifying as Afro-Caribbean, Indigenous, Latin, and Middle Eastern, she brings a rich cultural perspective to her practice, creating a safe and inclusive space for individuals from all walks of life.
Fluent in Spanish, she specializes in working with teenagers, adults, and seniors, focusing on relationship dynamics, anxiety, depression, PTSD, life transitions, and co-occurring disorders, with extensive experience serving LGBTQIA2S+ communities.
Nahla employs a holistic approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed techniques, along with somatic practices, sound therapy, and Holotropic Breathwork, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs. With specialized training in addressing domestic violence, sexual abuse, and co-occurring disorders, she is committed to empowering clients to heal, build resilience, and foster deeper connections with themselves and others through a collaborative, culturally responsive, and client-centered approach.
