Betsy Lindeland, Psy. D.

Besty Lineland Psy. D.Betsy Lindeland (she/her)

Betsy is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who works with adult individuals. She specializes in working with folks presenting with disordered eating and body image issues using a weight-inclusive, integrative approach that is informed by Health at Every Size (HAES), Intuitive Eating, and anti-diet approaches. She is a certified BodyTrust® provider through BeNourished, LLC. Another focus of Betsy’s practice is working with transgender and genderqueer individuals, both in individual therapy and providing assessments for gender-affirming surgery using the WPATH-7 guidelines. Betsy also has experience addressing issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, addictions, sexual orientation, life transitions, attachment issues, and identity development.

Betsy utilizes an integrative approach to therapy that combines aspects of various treatment modalities to meet clients where they are and create a therapy plan based on their needs, goals, and resources. Betsy believes it is important to look at her therapy clients within their past and current environmental, social, and cultural contexts to explore how social determinants, such as power and privilege dynamics, may affect their presenting concerns and ability to heal.
